Approximately 600 labor, environmental and civil society
groups called on Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden for a stronger
role for Congress in the future Trade Promotions Authority (TPA) legislation.
The groups proposed several
specific provisions to enhance Congress’s role and laid out three
additional conditions that a future TPA bill should meet.
