Despite Ebola scares, ISIS threats, and a shrinking airline
industry, US travelers have been flying at historic rates. The International
Trade Administration is reporting that international trips by US citizens have
risen 10% from just one year ago. Additionally, the Department of Commerce
predicts that international travel to
the United States has increased to record-breaking levels as well. This is
certainly a welcome development after the decrease in international travel during
the financial crisis. Bloomberg
has the eye-opening numbers.
